Happy Thanksgiving Post! The top thing I’m thankful for in terms of books.

Hey guys! So this year for Thanksgiving I’m really discovering one thing that I’m truly thankful for which is being a bibliophile and a certified bookworm. My love of books has always been a constant thing in my life but this year, with everything that has been especially tough that I’ve been going through (multiple hospitalizations, bad news for family, etc.) I noticed that my love of books has grown even more so into something that is a necessity for me in life. If I didn’t have my love of books, I would’ve never gotten through this past year at all. Book reading and reviewing has literally saved my life. And as I still struggle with things that I’m dealing with, I find that I cling to my love of books moreso than anything else. It’s my life. It’s my passion. It’s my job. It’s everything to me and then some. I find that I want to center my life around it, and around this blog in the upcoming year and try really hard to update and come up with new blog posts more frequently than I’ve been doing. I find that this blog and my love of books gives me a purpose that I hadn’t had before and that I definitely want to grow and continue. If books is my passion, then that’s what my life will be like for the next year or so at least. So, I invite you all to come on this journey with me, as I discover even more about myself, books and how they help me cope with different things. I also invite you to do a little self discovery about yourself and find out what your passion is. What speaks to you. Is it books? Is it video games? What is it and why? What are you thankful for this year and what has helped you cope with everything that has been going on in your life? Maybe, you don’t feel the same as me. Maybe, your passion lies in something else that I don’t know about. I’d like to think that whatever makes you happy, makes you happy. And for me, books make me happy. This blog, talking to you all makes me happy. And if blogging is what I should focus on this next year, then that’s what I’ll do. So, as we approach the new year, I invite you to come along with me for the ride. For the good, the bad and maybe sometimes the ugly. And here’s to you. My readers. My followers, the few of you that are out there right now. But I do want to say I deeply appreciate all of you and hope that you’ll continue reading and if not, I hope you’ve enjoyed your stay. Here’s to another great year of books, life and a passion that I hope will never die. -Caroline
